You may remember this little beauty from a while back... She is an incredibly talented young lady who has recently been nominated for a Canadian Folk Music Award (congrats Rebecca!) and I had a fun session with her before the snowflakes started to fly.
We visited three of her favourite murals and tried out three different album photo looks for her new cd, to be released in the coming months. Check out Rebecca's music here!

This spring I had the absolute pleasure of setting up a mini "glamour-photo" marathon as part of the coolest stagette party I've ever been to. The theme was kind of a mix - a little saucy (I believe I noticed some suspiciously-shaped hors d'oeuvres) and a lotta old-Hollywood glam.
I think almost everyone was a little nervous to be in front of the camera at first, but as you can see below - the ladies brought their A-games :)

On one of my recent tours making class photos for a lovely dance school in Medicine Hat (Hanson School of Dance) I was excited to get a special request. One of the advanced students arranged to bring her gorgeous green grad dress and we had a crazy-quick (10 min!) mini-portrait session on my class photo set.
It was fun.

So last month I found myself doing a coupla shoots for Mayfair Shoes which is a lovely Edmonton shoe store (one downtown, one in WEM.) I've come to this conclusion: There is a very strong chance that I may be falling in love with not one, but several inanimate objects. See below; some of you will understand. This lovely young woman recently invited me over to shoot a few pics of her and her equally lovely sister (how much is their dad gonna love getting pics of these beautiful daughters of his?! So pretty...) And, of course, we had to take some lovey-dovey pics of her and her beau too.
PS - Alaina had her hair & make-up done by Morgan & Jane at Ponytails + Horseshoes. You should go there. They are amazing. And they're really sweet too.
